MORE INFORMATION

Organized religion is a business, a business which exploits the fears and weaknesses of its patrons to perpetuate its own existence.

This pertains to Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, or any of the many other belief systems;  here I am not talking about any one religion or philosophy.  The use of the cross as a symbol to illustrate my thoughts is not an indictment of any one set of beliefs.

Religious organizations are human-created, and every one of them is made up of both good and bad people.  I applaud the good people of any conviction while condemning those who prey on their fellow man.  I hope this commentary will encourage objective evaluation over blind adherence to a belief system of any kind.
